Day1
We depart Perth at 7:30 am and begin our tour of the Southwest corner of the state by heading south through the coastal cities of Mandurah and Bunbury. After a stop over in Bunbury for morning tea on the Koombana Bay foreshore, we travel on to Busselton to view the famous Busselton Jetty. We continue south to the wine growing region of Margaret River for wine tasting (and perhapsa purchase or two) before a light lunch, then on to Cape Leeuwin, the most southwestern point of Australia. Maybe a short walk to the lighthouse before returning to the coach to travel the4 final leg of the day to Pemberton for our overnight stay at Pemberton Hotel. A wonderful dinner at the hotel this evening.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel restaurant we travel southeast through the world's third tallest trees in the spectacular Karri Forests of the southwest, including a visit to the Diamond Tree Fire Lookout. On to Walpole for our stop at Treetop Walk in the Valley of the Giants, a very special event on the tour. We continue travelling east through the town of Denmark and on to the historic port town of Albany for lunch. We then visit the coastal cliff area to view The Gap and Natural Bridge, with an afternoon tea stop at Mt Romance Perfume Factory. If time permits we may take a stroll in the main street to shop for souvenirs. We then go to our overnight stay at the Ace Motor Inn.
Day 3
Late start today as we travel east to the beautiful flowers of the Fitzgerald River National Park. We will visit Hopetoun and East Mt Baron for spectacular views of the Southern Ocean and also the great variety of flowers within this National Park. We will have a picnic lunch in the park before returning to Albany for our second night at the Ace Mortor Inn.
Day 4
9 am start this morning as we travel to the Stirling Ranges for sightseeing at the base of Bluff Knoll. After a stop for morning tea, we tour the park to view wildflowers with our expert guide. A picnic lunch in the park before a leisurely drive through picturesque wheat belt country and returning to Perth in the late afternoon. This concludes our tour as we say goodbye to new friends and remember the beauty of Western Australia.
